Make it an Obama and a Double Scotch on the Rocks

Not sure if he was quite over last night's hangover or not, but the Patriarch of the Kennedy Socialist Dynasty threw his hat into the endorsement ring today by joining niece Caroline and son Patrick on the Obama bandwagon. Sen. Ted Kennedy (DUI-Chappaquiddick) apparently believes the future of this great nation lies on the broad, untested (and unqualified) shoulders of Sen. Barak Obama.



The Elder Kennedy said, "Through Barack, I believe we will move beyond the politics of fear and personal destruction and unite our country with the politics of common purpose." Politics of fear and personal destruction, huh?

First of all, Ted Kennedy created the politics of fear and personal destruction when he personally chose to attack Judge Robert Bork when he was nominated by President Ronald Reagan to serve on the Supreme Court. Kennedy put down his drink long enough to get on national TV and say, "Robert Bork's America is a land in which women would be forced into back-alley abortions, blacks would sit at segregated lunch counters, rogue police could break down citizens' doors in midnight raids, schoolchildren could not be taught about evolution, writers and artists could be censored at the whim of government." Once again, the hypocrisy of these people amaze me.

And it was with the help of Ted Kennedy during the 1990's until present that the Clintonistas perfected the politics of personal destruction and fear. How many times would we see Kennedy's fat face in the background of a Clinton or DNC press conference with Bill or Hillary at the mic telling lie after lie after lie. Maybe he was just too drunk to remember.

Ultimately the Kennedy's are doing the same thing the Clinton's do in a time like this, destroy the ones who have the power that you so crave. Do what is necessary to knock them off their perch, and then kick them while they are down.

I'm going to enjoy watching these two "die-nasties" tear each other apart. I expect Hillary to man up here and do something about this...Hill the Shrill will not go down quietly.
And a word of warning to Barak Obama...this endorsement isn't free. If by some slim chance you do become President, remember that Teddy is in charge.
