A look at current events from the point of a view of a Conservative Evangelical Christian who stands firmly on the Word of God (that's the Bible for those of you at Berkley) and stands behind the Constitution of the United States of America. So grab yourself a big cup of java, kick back in your chair and enjoy another member of the "vast right wing conspiracy" making his voice heard.

More hypocrisy

So the SCOTUS manages to get one right today by acknowledging that the Founding Father's might have known what they were talking about when they wrote the constitution...imagine that, 5 of them agreed with the law of the land. Of course i'm referring to the ban on handguns in DC (where for the record only CRIMINALS have been carrying them in recent years) that was overturned by a 5-4 decision today.

Now i'm listening to Dennis Henigan on Just In W/Laura Ingraham speaking on behalf of the Brady Center, which has become yet another left leaning organization that might have begun with good intentions but managed to sell out to those who think America and Americans are the problem, and i can't help but laugh at what he said. And i quote, "Look, the people of the District of Columbia supported this law for 30 years, it is a shame that their judgement has been over-ridden by the United States Supreme Court."

OK...so it's OK for the CA Supreme Court to over-ride the will of the people who voted against allowing this so called gay marriage as a "right", and it was OK for an appeals court in VA to overturn a ban on partial birth abortion (which is killing a child late in term in a barbaric and horrific way); but no court should ever rule in favor of the US Constitution! Made up "gay rights" is great, a so called "right to choose" that kills an unborn child is to be celebrated, but not a true blue American right that is spelled out in the law of the land; uh-uh...no way! Hypocrisy, it never ceases to amaze me.

Roe v. Wade and Virginia Tech

While leftists like Rosie O'Donnell rant and rave about the need to ban weapons and remove the 2nd Amendment from our Constitution, and all of the major networks continue to beat that dead horse...i have to suggest that the wrong "right" is to blame for what took place at Virginia Tech on Monday.

Roe v. Wade was decided on Jan. 22, 1973 and made abortion on demand a "right" and has had the greatest influence on the culture of death we now live in. I also think that this "right" to abortion had more to do with the senseless deaths of 32 teachers and students in Blacksburg, VA than the right to bear arms did. The reason is privacy, "the ability of an individual or group to keep their lives and personal affairs out of public view, or to control the flow of information about themselves."

Because of these so called privacy laws that were used to argue in favor of abortion, and have been further defined by HIPAA, the mental issues of Cho Seung-Hui could not be released to those who needed to know about it; such as VT administrators, campus police, et al. Even though he was ruled "mentally ill" according to ABC News, and a counselor even said he"Presents an imminent danger to others as a result of mental illness"; it was a secret that he had a "right" to take to his grave. His so called "right of privacy" that kept his mental issues in a doctor's office file has a trail of blood leading to those two buildings on the campus of Virginia Tech.

So Rosie, ABCNNBCBS News, and all other gun hating but abortion loving leftists...you want to point a finger at a "right" to blame for the Virginia Tech tragedy; look past the 2nd Amendment and then look no further than your precious right to kill unborn babies.
